This year Animania really proved itself to me that it's still worth going to.
I had such a blast there and got to see so many friends it was amazing. I am so glad that they changed the floor plan and used the space so much more effectively this year!!

Report-ness:

~KJDSTJME got there at god knows how early with her foldy chair and sat herself down in what she thought was a line bat was infact the pre-reg line. (there was really absolutely no signage so it wasn't really her fault XD)

It took us (me and ~moonlitkunoichi15 ) about 20 minutes to find her in the crowd because apparently us not being able to see through people to her is stressful for her XD
lol my dumbness annoyed her so much!!

We were at redfern station and she gave us directions and I kept saying amazingly helpful things like "I see a green car!! does that mean we're here!?!?" Just cuz its uber fun to annoy her I ily youuuuu.

Ran into ~AbstractNightmare and her crew in the line and lol'd at her shenanigans with L.

We finally got in and did a scan of what was going on at the con; then we sat in the most middlest part of a path we could find and figured out what we wanted to do and what our game plan was. (lol yes we're organizized )

Umm we ate food... and looked around at shiz a bit.....

Went out to see what the lines looked like and ran into *GundamFamiglia and ~kaiya-02 and some other peepsss.

Then ran into ~Organisation-Roxas and gave him a big hug.

*doesn't remember much of after... videogames, candy and some frolicking*

Then we watched the cosplay eventually

Everyone was so awesome!! The standard for the cosplays even those who didn't enter was amazing! O_O

Congrats to all those who won or runner up'd in the cosplay comp!!

then WCS started.

twas quite the epicnessss O_O
It seems that after everyone has seen what wcs is all about from last year, now the standard has been raised heaps and everyone is making even more amazing costumes *A*

After that we finally got to go look at stalls and buy some stuff...

Then awards ceremony and all the winners were announced!

Congrats to all the wcs entrants. Even if you didn't win you guys were all absolutely amazing.

The only real disappointment of the day was that I didn't really get to spend any real time with any cosplay friends, I kinda expected that cuz I didn't cosplay TT_TT

and it was beyond impossible to follow where *GundamFamiglia and ~strawberrycreamcake were! Too many costume changes @A@

hey all! epic long time since I put up a journal

how're y'all goin??

anyhoo.

Yesterday I went to day 1 of Smash
Twas quite the awesomeness.
I cosplayed as Cream from sonic with as Amy Rose. Was quite fun to get up in the morning and put on an orange potato sack dress XD

and yes...

cons seem kinda boring to me atm... I think I need to cosplay more and enter more... cuz really after the first time you go they're all pretty much the same.

Also I need to remember to eat at cons >.>;; I always seem to forget and then I crash massively by the end of the day XD

but yes, it was awesome fun, I loved my outfit, I loved my wig(s), and after a bumpy start the con ended up being the funnest i've ever been to

It was awesome getting to enter the cosplay comp for the first time ever too >///<

Thanks so much to everyone who cheered for us and everyone who was so nice backstage and all my friends for being so supportive

and the staff at smash were amazing!! Everyone was so nice and organized and awesome!!

twas awesome to see all my awesome friends again (awesome, just cuz I haven't said it enough already )

Does anyone know who won the cosplay comp? I had to leave early XD

Heya!

I finally got better after being really sick for the past two weeks.

Don't have much to say atm, but I wanted to get rid of my other journal

YAY winter holidays have started!!

and I got sick -.-"

I'm supposed to be at workplacement this week (hospitality work experience for school)
but I had to stay home sick today and got sent home early yesterday

This sucks so bad because now I have to make up the hours and go next monday as well, which is taking time away from sewing and assignments.
